Our mission is the conservation of natural resources through education and management of all aspects of solid and hazardous waste, recycling, and overuse of resources.

Become a Member

The Co-op is a membership based non-profit organization. Membership is open to individuals and businesses who have an interest in improving the environment in North Texas and supporting the Co-op to establish solid waste and recycling programs and provide education programs to all citizens in the region. The Co-op needs your support and your voice. Joining is easy—just click to “become a member” or fill out the form below and return to the Co-op, along with your membership fee. Members receive discounts on classes, free unlimited electronics recycling at our recycling plant; and bi-monthly emails with up-to-date information on environmental issues and events in the area, and a quarterly newsletter. Individual Membership Levels

  • $15 – Co-op Supporter
  • $25 – Making a Difference Locally
  • $50 – Helping Change the World
  • $___ – Doing everything I can to help

Business Membership Levels

  • $25 – Non-profit organization
  • $50 – Business with up to 5 employees
  • $150 – Business with 6-19 employees
  • $250 – Businesses with more than 20 employees

Annual Sponsorship Levels

Your business can become a sponsor of Environmental Co-op, Kaufman County’s non-profit environmental organization which entitles you to publicity with your tax deductible gift of:

  • $500 – Logo will be included on our website and facebook page, in our email newsletters and includes sponsorship for one educational program of your choice.
  • $1000 – All of the above, and sponsorship of multiple educational programs (which will include flyers, advertisements and more with your name and/or logo depending on media type.)
